Week #2 in Peru

Some of the kids in English class are practicing their colors by creating a color-by-number worksheet.

The kids really enjoyed coloring and we have some future artists in the group! Our group has shrunk from 35 to a nice core group of about 15 students.

This is a typical Peruvian dish called lomo saltado. It's stir-fried beef strips, onions and bell peppers over French fries and rice.  It's amazingly delicious.

Lyndell is teaching some new vocabulary that goes with the photo slideshow of life in the US and life in Brazil. Guess where the words soccer and hammock are from?!!

A beautiful mall in Lima. The food court is all outside and with the mountains in the background and some live Peruvian musicians to listen to, our Burger King whoppers took on a whole new flavor.

Justo, Lorena and Justito - I mean Captain America - outside a store at the mall.

Lyndell is enjoying playing keyboard with the worship band and learning some Spanish worship songs.

Justito loves to imitate Bruce. He even refers to us as "Boos y el otro Boos"!! (Bruce and the other Bruce)
