Blogs (or "news feed" or "RSS") are web sites that are added to regularly and you, the reader, can retrieve this news. Here are two short video clips that explain the concept:
Blogs in Plain English: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN2I1pWXjXI
RSS in Plain English: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0klgLsSxGsU
So, concretely, how can you retrieve this news:
1. Go directly to the blog web address from time to time. However, as the above videos mention, this can become tedious, especially with several blogs you may wish to follow. Therefore, try one of the following options:
2. Try www.feedmyinbox.com that sends a notice to your eMail in-box whenever there is an update to the blog. There are other similar services available.
3. Smoothest option is to have your browser manage your blogs:
* Firefox: www.brief.mozdev.org
* Internet Explorer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhI06Tb0FSo
